Floating glass or wood shelves are an easy DIY project, and they work great in any space in your home -- including wall shelving for your bathroom or showers! And choosing the right brackets for your shelf project is easy. A few things to consider:
Recommended Spacing: Leave 12” to 18” between shelf supports for a durable shelf
Shelf Thickness: Be sure to check the thickness of wood or glass your shelf brackets will accomodate.
Maximum Shelf Protrusion: Most brackets can accommodate a 5” wide shelf - be sure to check your individual bracket specifications.
Most brackets are suitable for 1-wall, 2-wall (corner) or 3-wall (nook) installations. Please be sure to note that if you are installing in a nook, you will need to subtract the width of the bracket from the size of the glass you are ordering. This information is covered in detail on each bracket product detail page.
