About Our Acrylic Sheets

Acrylic sheets are made from a synthetic polymer of methyl methacrylate, which is a thermoplastic. Its lightweight, shatter-resistant properties make it a great choice for areas where safety is very important. It's also a great choice for many home improvement or DIY projects.

Acrylic sheets are well-known by trade names like Plexiglass®, Acrylite®, Lucite®, and Perspex®.

Acrylic sheets can be easily custom-cut to your specifications. First, choose between a square or rectangle shape (other shapes are not available at this time). Then simply choose the size you need cut, and then select from 1/8" thick or 1/4" thick acrylic sheets. Our cut acrylic sheets have a seamed edge that is not polished; this is suitable for most applications.

Advantages of Acrylic Sheets

Acrylic sheets have many advantages over standard glass sheets. Nonetheless, standard glass, particularly tempered glass, is a superior product in terms of look and performance. There are certain instances where acrylic sheets are useful, and in that case:

• Acrylic sheets are less prone to breakage & shattering.
• Acrylic sheets are easier to cut and manipulate than glass.
• Acrylic is very clear with no greenish tint.
• Acrylic sheets are lighter than glass.
