Acrylic sheets are made from a synthetic polymer of methyl methacrylate, which is a thermoplastic. Its lightweight, shatter-resistant properties make it a great choice for areas where safety is very important. It's also a great choice for many home improvement or DIY projects.
Acrylic sheets are well-known by trade names like Plexiglass®, Acrylite®, Lucite®, and Perspex®.
Acrylic sheets can be easily custom-cut to your specifications. First, choose between a square or rectangle shape (other shapes are not available at this time). Then simply choose the size you need cut, and then select from 1/8" thick or 1/4" thick acrylic sheets. Our cut acrylic sheets have a seamed edge that is not polished; this is suitable for most applications.
