Mirror Mastic Review
The tubes of glue (2) seemed to be plugged as they would not dispense the substance. I cut the tube tip and punctured the inside of the opening with a nail, and yet nothing came out when I sqeezed the tube. The nail that I used to puncture the inside of the tube had a dried, plastic-like substance on it, leading me to believe that the tube had become plugged at the tip. I had to cut the bottom of the tube off to get the glue out, then use a stick to spread the glue around the back of the mirror. Very messy - but it did work. The mirror seems to be adhering to the wall at this point. The mirror itself is top quality (as all items - mirrors, shelves - have been up to this point).
Mirror glue and good customer service
Bad tube was replace at no charge with fresh tube- great customer service
Tube had lumps that clogged application of bead. Could not be applied evenly. Instructions were poor and did not include curing time. Clean-up was OK, and there were no nasty fumes.
Troy sustmes mirror glue.
In my case the glue was too old and already partially cured. I was able to use the glue in the middle of the tube, but it was a bit of a struggle.
end hard had to cut most of end off
Mastic Used on Full length hallway mirror
Used this on hallway mirror/door. The mastic is easy to use & worked perfectly. Would use again on any future projects. See my other review on the Glassless Mirror with hidden storage.
About 2 inches of adhesive was hard in tube difficult to get out
Dried out glue
Got the tube. The top in the nozzle was dried solid. After fighting with it for a while, finally had to cut open the other end. Not very good And the glue is too loose. There is no quick adhesion to make the mirror kind of stick while you are securing it. Poor formulation. Now it's taped up. Hopefully it will at least dry securely, given the performance so far, I am not optimistic. Use another product
MG001 - Troy Systems Mirror Glue
Difficult and messy! When cut top of tube to apply there was a clog of dried glue. Tried to dig it out and couldn't get deep enough. Tried to squeeze it out and the bottom broke open. Eventually got it on the mirror and it stuck well.
Waste of money
Top 1/4 of the tube was hard as a rock, had to cut bottom open to get at enough glue to attach mirror to wall.
Only been a day since installing on tile wall, but looks like it will be fine.
Troy Systems mirror glue
This glue works very well for attaching my mirrors to the wall. I would recommend this product without hesitation. The glue arrived in good time and was well packaged. Thank You.
Works as advertised
The mirror glue worked as expected
The project was to glue the mirror to another mirror. It worked without a problem. Troy systems mirror glue was easy to work with and with no mess.
The adhesive was easy to use, though there wasn't much in the way of instructions on the tube-- we had to go to the website, www.mirrorglue.com, to find proper instructions. Taking off a star for that and for high viscosity that made it a bit difficult to squeeze. Otherwise worked fine.
So far, glue is working great. As long as mirror doesn't fall down, we're good!
