Use this 27" round glass table top on a wood or metal table base. This ready-made tempered glass table top is perfect for DIY projects where the table base is handmade or a thrifted piece of furniture. This mid-sized glass can be used as a glass table insert in a frame if you choose the flat polish option. Other options for the 27” glass table tops are beveled edges and tempering. We temper our glass table tops using an industrial tempering oven. The heating process makes it extra strong and durable compared to standard annealed glass. Beveled edges are simply an attractive edging process where we polish down the outer inch for the edges to be thinner. This creates an elegant edge finish for a standalone table top.
Glass Thickness Options:
1/4" Thick Glass: Suitable mainly for table covers and table protectors.
1/2" Thick Glass: The thickest glass available on our site; sturdy and durable. Usually comes with a beveled edge.
Glass Edge Work Options:
Flat Polished Edges: Edges have been "square" polished with smooth, shiny edges; provides a minimalistic look.
Bevel Polished Edges: The outer inch of the table top has been polished down for thinner edges; creates an elegant and modern look.
