Our glass table tops are all custom manufactured, which means that all pieces can be to your specification. Edging style and thickness recommended differ depending on the project requested.

Different edge works available

Seamed Edge: In this application, after the glass table top is cut the edges are sanded to dull the sharp edges. This is to make the glass table top safe to handle.
Flat Polish Edge: In this application the edges of the glass table top have been polished to a smooth shiny finish.
Pencil Polish Edge: Popular with circle or oval shapes, the side edge is rounded for a softer look.
Beveled Polish Edge: In this application the edges of the glass table top are cut and polished in an angle with a specific Bevel Width to produce a certain "look". This process leaves the glass table top thinner around the edges and thicker in the center. The Bevel Width around the glass table top can range in size from 1/4" to 1 3/4" and specified by you.

Different types of Glass Table Tops

Glass on frameless furniture: glass sits directly on the legs without an edge.
- Recommended glass thickness: 3/8" or 1/2"
- Recommended edge: flat polish, pencil polish, or beveled polish
Glass directly on the surface of furniture:glass sits directly on the surface of the furniture.
- Recommended glass thickness: 3/8" or 1/2"
- Recommended edge: flat polish, pencil polish, or beveled polish
Glass embedded in a table: glass is inserted into the table.
- Recommended glass thickness: 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2"
- Recommended edge: flat polished edge
Glass in a metal frame: glass is wrapped in a metal frame.
- Recommended glass thickness: 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2"
- Recommended edge: flat polished edge

Can I order my custom glass table top online and have it shipped?

Yes! You may customize your glass table top online and we'll ship it anywhere in the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, all off-shore U.S. territories and P.O. Box addresses). Please note that glass table tops intended to rest directly on furniture do not require an exact measurement and therefore are recommended for online ordering.

However, glass table tops that are made to be inserted into an item of furniture or metal frame do require a very exact measurement and possibly professional installation. How long will it take to manufacture my custom glass table top?

After your order is received, our manufacturing process usually takes 5 to 7 business days. Once your order is fulfilled, we will ship it immediately and send you a confirmation email with tracking information.

What are the available thicknesses that I can order for my custom glass table top?

For those ordering online, four thicknesses are offered: 3/16", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2". To discuss options regarding other glass table top thicknesses, please contact our glass table top professionals at 1-866-452-7707, or request a quote.

What is a "corner finish", and what types are offered?

For all shapes with edges (i.e. – square, triangle, rectangle), corners are usually nice and sharp to create a clean line. However, if you have small children or pets, you may want to finish to corners for safety. Corner finishes offered are listed below:

Eased corner: glass corners are sanded down slightly to relieve sharp edges
Radius and polished corner: corners are cut down to a radius and then polished
Clip and polished corner: corners are cut down to a 45 degree angle and then polished

What is tempered glass and when is it recommended?

Tempering is a process applied to glass to prevent cracking and shattering when broken. Tempering is mainly applied to glass table tops that will be resting on top of frameless furniture.

The custom sized mirror that I ordered was made and delivered exactly as promised. Two Glass Custom Table Tops

Two glass table tops arrived promptly and were superbly packed. Only issue with order was an approximately two inch scratch near and parallel to one of the edges of one of the table tops. Little doubt that this occurred during production. However, by placing the table top so that the scratched surface is on the bottom and at a back corner, the scratch is hardly noticeable and therefore not of sufficient bother to compel one to return it. Nonetheless this should have been caught prior to shipment.

We recently purchased a play table for our children. Since the table was fairly expensive and white we decided to order a tempered glass table top. I measured the top down to 1/16 of an inch and filled out the order form located on the website. We ordered the top with eased corners and beveled edges and it's a perfect fit. : I am living in Boston and as I have no car and custom cut glass are not located in close distance to public transportation, I decided to try my chance online: 1- The Dulles Glass offered the lowest online price and even lower than local shops in Boston 2- Due to packaging, they shipping cost was great. 3- My dimension were a bit tricky as it were ending in 15/16 of Inch, but when I got the glass, it was 100% matching 4- The packing of glass was great, protecting and out standing 5- The glass was washed and clean when I removed the packing I definitely will order again if I need and I highly recommend them. I ordered two pieces of glass for my console table. I undermeasured just to make sure that the glass pieces would fit in the in-lays but this was not necessary. Dulles measurements were exact. It took about a week from the point of purchase until the two pieces of glass arrived at my door step. I was concerned about breakage since I live all the way in NY, but Dulles secured the glass very well by layering styrofome and packing it tightly in the box; in addition, they included a huge sticker that says, "GLASS" on the outside. I would definetly recommend them for any glass you may need.I was very happy with the product I recieved.

I ordered online clear glass covers for a wood rectangular coffee table and 2 square end tables. I placed my order on July 13; it was shipped to me on July 18; and today, July 20, I got them through Fedex. The glass covers were packaged carefully and superbly and amply marked for safe handling in neon green and yellow -- looked like nothing could damage them in shipping. When I opened the boxes, I just knew they would be perfect. Glass was cut excellently. The glass covers are now sitting on my tables, sizes fit to a T, and my tables look amazing just like how I imagined them to be. I cannot but highly recommend Dulles!

In fact, I can't recall a retail website that handled such customization options with such ease. Other companies would do well to follow their example. As the old saying goes "pick any 2", well, with these guys you get all 4. Easy, it doesn't get any easier than the online ordering system they have. Good source for custom size galss tops. I ordered low iron glass table top. Product is good and delivery duraiton was as stated on their web-site - within 7 days. Also received a updated message that the order was in fabrication and when it is expected to ship. The low iron glass looks light green on edges and is not darker green - but is very clear looking from top. Definitely recommended for on-line ordering of custom size table top glass.

I searched online many places to find a replacement glass top for my outdoor wicker table. With absolutely no luck, I happened upon the Dulles Glass & Mirror website and found that I could have the top custom made. There were easy steps to follow to select options for type of glass, size, edging, cornering, thickness etc,. I was able to put together what I wanted fairly quickly. I submitted the order, and within a week I had my table top (very securely packaged to prevent breaking) and it was beautifully made and fit exactly into the table. My fiancee and I bought an antique piece at a thrift shop that we wanted to turn into an end table, which meant we needed a top for it. We decided to go with glass and I found Dulles on my Google search results. Their site made it so easy to create and customize a glass top for our new piece--heads and shoulders above the competition. We received our glass top well within the timeframe told to us on our receipt and we love it! It fits perfectly on our antique piece, is beautifully beveled with eased corners, and crystal clear. I am very happy and in a second I would order from Dulles again.

overall i am pleased however, there was a approx 1/2" chip out of the table corner. due to time deadlines, i had to settle with the chipped glass.

Worst customer service ever until I deat with the general manager Kevin thx for resolving the matter but I think an discount should have been given or something! Not a promise of if recovery, I will get the glass smdh I will not use this company again Always give the customer something after major errors on your company fault And they will return!!!!!!

We have a round solid oak table in our dinette area which we use daily and after three years of being so careful not to set anything on the table, I finally deceided to take the chanch and special order this 45 1/2 inch glass table top cover. They had in stock 45 inch however I needed the 45 1/2 round. I contacted the company and they were great and emailed me right back and told me (yes) they could fulfill my request. I should have done this three years ago!! Just make sure you order the exact size, because they do make your table top that you order right to the exact dimensions you give them. You have a very short waiting time for your order to arrive. The packing was wonderful. Do not wait to order if you have been thinking about protecting your your beautiful table as I said before, I wish I had not waited so long. I also have a beautiful hand made crochet table cloth under the glass and now my table cloth looks wonderful and not getting dirty and most of all my table is protected. I promise you, you will be very happy if you order from this company, as you can see I am a very happy buyer!!

I ordered a table top that was lost in shipping. They shipped the top out quickly, when I received the glass top it was broke. Not by the compan, but by the delivery men. I sent an email and got an imediate response from Sam Degismen. He immediately sent out a new glass top, which the delivery men did not break, and it fit perfect. This is a wonderful company and would recommend everyone to do business with them.

The piece of glass is perfect EXCEPT, I requested 2 eased corners and received the glass with no eased corners. Time was an issue and could not wait for another piece, so, I requested a credit for the additional easing charge. You apologized, offered to send another piece promptly, and issued the credit forthwith. Thank you. Otherwise, the piece works fine.
