First time ever purchasing custom glassThis website was the first one to pop up in google search for "custom tabletop glass". I wasn't even sure if the price was good because I've never bought a piece of glass before. (According to my sister, yes $47 including shipping for an 18x18 piece of glass with sanded edges is a good price.) I have this cheap little table from Target or Walmart that I wanted a glass for on top of it - now my cheap little table is a lot classier ;) PS - it only took 2 1/2 days to receive it after I placed my order!

Nice Work!I reluctantly ordered a glass top for a metal table from the Dulles Glass website after we tried several brick-and-mortar stores in our hometown area (although I order many things from online stores, I'm a see-touch-taste kinda guy when it comes to projects like this.) We were quite please with the results--the glass was cut perfectly to specs and was delivered ahead of schedule. Even with the shipping costs factored in, we paid about 30% less than the lowest estimate from a local store. Almost perfectJust unwrapped my table top glass (this was to be go on top of an antique trunk so that I could use it as a coffee table). I had requested that the corners be rounded but they were not. Other than that it's good. Glass was packaged very week which was important since it had to travel across country. Arrived fairly quickly.

No hassle transactionI was looking for a custom shelf for the kitchen. Local glasiers would either not accept to cut a one off shelf (makes me think they get 100s of similar size glasses to cut) or would ask unreasonable prices one they would realize I wasn't a contractor. Although Dulles was only slightly better priced for a similar item (it came to just about the same with shipping and handling) I initially ordered from them out of principle. Replacement fishtank glassThank you DGM, we been wanting to replace our fish tank cover glass for over a year and at first were skeptical about ordering online due to afraid of damage during shipping something so fragile such as glass. But with the great customer feedback we found online, we went ahead and risk it. Was really excited when the package arrived, unfortunately when we opened it, each piece of the glass was already broken. At first we were really disappointed and was frustrated looking at the box of broken glass. We called customer service rep and immediately felt at ease and was assured we will still get our glass through a new order at no cost. We just received the new order yesterday and was able to put it on our fish tank. Our recycling bin from city has sticker showing glass is one of the accepted items, so we were able to carefully scrap the broken pieces to be recycled and now everything works out. Custom Mirrors for Custom FrameWe are building a new home and my wife found some mirrors that look like old medicine cabinets made from wood. They were $450.00 each. Plate Glass TileI have profile milled a Rose Blossom out of a Claro Walnut Burl on my CNC Mill. Required about 500,000 movements or commands with a small end mill. The result was highly detailed and delicate. I decided that the best way to display the rose was floating on a piece of Plate Glass. DG&M cut and edge polished a small piece of 1/2" thick glas for this purpose. It was expensive but less expensive than anywhere else I could find. Order was entered on Monday and received in a very well packed container on the following Saturday. Communications and order acknowledge was excellant for this small order.

A great glass company with great buisness ethics!The experience with this company was fantastic. I had to replace the glass on a metal framed end table.The local glass shops could not handle the 3/4 inch bevel and so on line I went. This shop is still in state and was able to offer a variety of thicknesses and bevel sizes that the others could not handle. I received it today on Tuesday the 3rd of July After ordering it on the Thursday before. They packaged the glass with great care and it was in one piece on it arrival. frig glass replacementI broke the glass in the frig. I found Dulles glass and ordered a replacement. The glass is so smooth and perfect. I do have one suggestion to everybody buying glass. Measure twice before placing your order. I didn't measure twice and my cut was about 2 inches too short, but thats ok. Dulles glass packaged my replacemet so well I almost didn't get it open. Well done all the way around.I ordered custom cut polycarbonate to replace the glass on our TV stand (and protect our son from the hazardous glass). The ordering process was very easy and the site was better than anything else I could find online. Good descriptions that were accurate. I tried going the cheap route by buying plexiglass at Home Depot but that turned out to be a waste of money and time. I recommend letting the pros at Dulles it for you, especially if you're an amateur like me and you don't have the proper tools to do it right the first time. The shipping seemed a little expensive but it arrived on a Saturday plus they did an excellent job packaging the product and there was zero damage.

Great glass for my arcade machineI ordered the Xtension arcade machine cabinet and it came with a plastic bezel which was easily scratched. Great resource for those who are clumsy!I have small children and they don't always understand the concept of "fragile". Replacement GlassWe needed a replacement glass sheet for a curio cabinet that had been broken. After checking some local glass cutters, Dulles had the best price. Extremely Satisfied!I recently purchased a glass top for a table which I had bought at World Market and did not come with a glass. I measured it and found that I would have to get it custom-made. Dulles Glass and Mirror's website walked me through the process of finding my glass in the correct size, suggested the thickness (1/4" for tabletops), and beveled and tempered it. Of course, what I was most worried about was the shipping and not having any issues with it getting to my home in one piece. I have to say that not only was it delivered expediently, but once I began opening my package, I found that a lot of care was put into ensuring that my glass was well protected. As soon as I got it out of the packaging, I couldn't wait to get it on the table. It was perfect! I am so very pleased with my purchase and would recommend Dulles to anyone trying to make a glass purchase who may be a little unsure of how to go about getting the perfect fit.

outdoor glass table topI was very pleased with the glass top table for our outdoor table. The fit was perfect. I was a little disappointed that it did not have a plastic ring to protect the glass where the 2 inch hole was cut for the umbrella. About 10 days later my two pieces of glass arrived, delivered by FedEx Ground. Carefully packaged up and in perfect condition. We opened the package, placed the two pieces on the upper and lower levels of the patio table, and we were ready to enjoy an iced coffee and a view of the flower garden. What size drill bit does Dulles use to finish the edges on the glass?Product was shipped here very fast. I was impressed with how quickly it arrived. However, the edges I'd asked to be smoothed and rounded were not done very well. You can feel wrinkles in the edges, alone the rim of the glass. It feels like it was done with a power drill. The size is exactly what I ordered (although it is my fault that I didn't measure twice to make sure.) But even with that, I'm glad I didn't get the right size, because the quality of the edging and the rim of the glass is very sloppy. It is not at all what I expected, and I have ordered from others before who did a superb job on the rounded edges and the rim of the glass. I did order just the standard rim and edge-rounding finish, but as I have with other companies and they always had it come out very well. I chose Dulles for the cheaper price, and now I can see why it is the cheaper price. Not very satisfied.
Custom Glass OrderI have to admit... I was nervous about ordering my glass online, from a company on the opposite side of the country. But my fears were completely unfounded. I recieved an email confirmation immediately, and a shipping confirmation with a FedEx tracking number. My order arrived sooner than I expected, it was packed in a manner that ensured it wouldn't be damaged in transit, and it was exactly what I ordered. I couldn't be happier about this.
