Flat Polish Edge: In this application the edges of the corner glass shelf have been polished to a smooth shiny finish.
Seamed Edge: In this application, after the corner glass shelf is cut, the edges are sanded to dull the sharp edges. This is to make the corner glass shelf safe to handle.
Pencil Polish Edge: Popular with circle or oval shapes, the side edge is rounded for a softer look.
Beveled Polish Edge: In this application, the edges of the corner glass shelf are cut and polished in an angle with a specific Bevel Width to produce a sleek "look". This process leaves the corner glass shelf thinner around the edges and thicker in the center. The Bevel Width around the corner glass shelf can range in size from 1/4" to 1 3/4" and is specified by you.

How long will it take to manufacture my corner glass shelves?

After your order is received, our manufacturing process usually takes 5 to 7 business days. Once your order is fulfilled, we will ship it immediately and send you a confirmation email with tracking information.

What are the available thicknesses that I can order for my corner glass shelves?

For those ordering online, four thicknesses are offered: 3/16", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2". To discuss options regarding other glass thicknesses, please contact our glass professionals at 1-866-452-7707, or request a quote.

What is a "corner finish", and what types are offered?

For all shapes with edges (i.e. – square, rectangle), corners are usually nice and sharp to create a clean line. However, if you have small children or pets, you may want to finish to corners for safety. Corner finishes offered are listed below:

Eased corner: glass corners are sanded down slightly to relieve sharp edges
Radius and polished corner: corners are cut down to a radius and then polished
Clip and polished corner: corners are cut down to a 45 degree angle and then polished

My glass arrived in perfect condition, in a very short time, exactly as ordered, fit neatly into a cabinet shelf, and was reasonably priced. I paid Dulles Glass and Mirror what I had paid to a local supplier previously, and did not have to send pictures or visit the shop. This is an American company, and deserves support from American customers. At a time when so much of what we buy comes from other countries, it is important to keep such companies as Dulles Glass and Mirror in business.

I haven't even opened the boxes yet but I want you to know I am BLOWN AWAY by your EXCELLENT customer service. I spoke with your customer service rep Thursday morning and she exceeded all expectations. I was in a panic because I received notification that the order I placed with another company was cancelled-4 days after the order was placed. I needed the shelves by the end of the week. We have an important board meeting Wednesday coming up. I explained by problem to the rep and my concern that I needed the shelves ASAP. Not only did she check the computer inventory to make sure you had enough to fill my order, she personally checked the warehouse and took my order. I ordered 3 glass shelves approx. 5 inches by 5 feet long and 1/2 inch thick. I was concerned about the risk of having them shipped. I am absolutely delighted. Not only were the pieces flawlessly made, the packing was extraordinary. The were padded with cork, taped together, wrapped in styrofoam, stiffened by wood strips, wrapped in cardboard, and boxed in heavy cardboard, and banded with strapping. I can't speak highly enough of the whole experience. Don't hesitate to order from Dulles. Note that I am very hard to please and I seldom write reviews.

I wanted a glass shelf to an exact size. Looking around the Internet, I found plenty of sources for "sort of" what I wanted, but Dulles lets you specify exact sizes and custom cuts the glass. And the price seemed similar to "standard" sizes elsewhere. Never heard of them, but decided to give them a try. The glass was perfectly cut, nice smooth edges, the exact size I wanted. It was shipped even faster than the time they show on their website, and well packed. Would definitely buy from then again, and in fact will be buying several custom items from them in a few months when a second floor remodel is complete on my house. My only suggestion would be they expand their hardware section. I bought shelf mounting hardware someplace else, the selection of hardware that Dulles has is pretty limited. But for glass, I will go straight to the Dulles website.

The shelf went up easily with the black adjustable shelf brackets to hold it securely in the wall. We hung the shelf over the toilet, put a few candles on it, and it makes a nice accent piece for our bathroom.

Decided to use 1/4" Lexan (in rabbitted wood frames) and paned doors in lieu of glass. Worked beautifully. I was very impressed with the packaging for shipment. I wouldn't hesitate to order glass from Dulles. Everything is professionally done. I was pleasantly surprised at how accurately the dimensions were kept. I ordered oversize so I could trim to fit. Really wasn't necessary! Dimensions were much closer than the +/- 1/8" tolerance advertised. Thanks for delivering everything and more than I expected. I will be using Dulles again!

Sadly upon opening my package what I found was a box of shattered glass. The shelf was packaged good so it must have been dropped very hard. I called Dulles and they sent me a replacement no questions asked. This time the shelf was packaged extremely well plastic corner shields, cork pads, styrofoam, and a wood frame. Couldn't be more pleased. Will be doing buisness again with Dulles foe sure.

I ordered (3) pieces of (10) inch x (46) inch gray glass (for shelves) to replace (3) pieces of (6) inch x (46) inch clear glass. The glass was packed very well amd the measurements were correct. The first thing I noticed when placing the first piece of glass on a flat surface was that it looked like a piece of warped wood. There is a bow in the middle of all three pieces of glass.

I live in Georgia and ordered a large custom shelf last Friday and received it via FedEx today (Thursday)! Great website, great service and very fast shipping. I was really worried about getting such a large item to us without breakage, but the shelf was packaged extremely well with styrofoam, heavy cardboard, corner protection and cork "bumpers" all over the glass. The only thing I was a mildly disappointed in was the "eased" corners. They are really only sanded (I should have read the description better). I highly recommend this seller.

The good: Excellent packing job and the product was shipped quickly. The not-so-good: The rounded corners of the shelves are only *barely* rounded - I wish I would have known this in advance as I would have made changes to the order. One of the long edge bevels is inexpertly cut - it tapers off about 3/4 of the way down the length of the shelf. It won't affect placement because it happened to be on the side of the shelf that's going against the wall, but I would have returned the shelf had it occurred on the other long edge of the piece.

After buying a 36" L x 8" L glass shelf at Home Depot in Manhattan and carrying it home, I found out that the shelf actually measured 35" L. The mislabeling of the product delayed my project and of course caused inconveniences, namely, carrying the piece of glass back by subway to Home Depot. I found Dulles Glass Mirror on the internet and called them up to verify measurements and spoke to one of their representatives who was very helpful. I not only got a perfectly measured piece of tempered glass, but also received two brackets, and all this delivered to my apartment in a speedy way. I highly recommend Dulles Glass & Mirror.

The shelves I ordered were of good quality, the company has been very quick and efficient in processing the order and having it delivered. The only issue is that I found the delivery too expensive ($39.99 for 4 shelves) and FEDEX did not bother to check whether I was home, they delivered it straight to the management office of my residence, so I had to make additional efforts to pick them up, and they were heavy!!!

I have one observation about improvement. There was an option on the order screen reguarding easing of the corners. I noticed, however, that no mention of the corner type I desired appeared on any summary or receipt. And, as it happens, I wanted eased corners. I believe my cost reflected that choice. I now have pretty sharp corners on my beautiful glass shelves. Please can anyone tell me what I could use to soften these corners? An emery of some kind? The order process is simple and thorough. The product quality is excellant. The packaging was done very well. If I need any more custom glass, I will certainly order from Dulles Glass and Mirror again.

After ordering glass shelves from Dulles, they got broke by the carrier! This was due solely to mishandleing by the carrier and not Dulles Glass! The manager contacted me personally and even had my shelves delivered "Saturday Delivery"....I have been a business owner for over 30 years and have never done business with a finer group! They do what they say they will do!! What more can one ask? I look forward to doing business with them again in the near future!

Thank you for your very prompt handling of my order. We have mounted the shelf on our window to the delight of the orchids and cacti that now reside on it! It looks beautiful-an indoor garden. I will definitely order from your company again if I am looking for more glass shelves. The only problem we had was with the double sided adhesive tape for the brackets. I had to substitute some adhesive weatherstripping tape to pad the brackets. Sincerely, Chris Dupere
