Corner edges on glass table tops and table covers can be dangerous. How can they be made safer?
Square and rectangular table tops can be given a "corner finish". There are different types of corner finishes, and they can be applied to any and all of the corners. Make sure to specify where and what kind of corner finishes you prefer:
None – sharp corners, not as safe to handle
Eased corners – the glass corners are sanded down slightly to make them less sharp
Radius & polished corners – the glass corners are cut with a radius and then polished
Radius & beveled corners – the glass corners are cut with a radius and then beveled
Clipped & polished corners – the glass corners are cut to a 45-degree angle and then polished
Clipped & beveled corners – the glass corners are cut to a 45-degree angles and then beveled
